I've recently decided to take photography more seriously, and from something I used to do just on vacation it's becoming a passion that bugs the back of my mind, even when I'm not shooting.

I'm just a rookie, I've a lot to learn but I discovered a very fascinating world of magazines and on line resources which are full of great photographs and advice.

I've just bought an entry-level DSLR (Canon EOS 450D) with a 18-55 lens, and I've decided I won't buy new lenses until I won't be really satisfied with the results I can achieve with what I have.

(EDIT: I actually have already gave up and purchased a wideangle (Canon EF-S 10-22 USM) and a fast prime tele lens (Canon EF 85mm f/1.8). They are both great lenses, but especially the 85mm is fantastic and is giving me a lot of satisfactions.)

At the moment I'm trying to experiment with different techniques, both for taking shots and for post-processing, I'm trying to converge towards some sort of personal style but I understand it is going to take a while, there is too much I do not know and everything I learn is going to change my mind.

Please, feel free to drop on any of my shots and discuss them to let me improve my photographic skills! :-)

Bravissimo!

    (mi ci sono impegnato davvero..!)"
