Midwestern raised, with midwestern sensibilities. As with many of you, I'm devoted to my family but I'm at work a lot so I really appreciate my time away when I can do other things. I'm a homebody at heart. I really enjoy quiet, and rural scenery.

I work with cancer patients; I'm a Nurse Practitioner. My work is full of people and activity, and I find it rewarding. As much as I appreciate the chance to help others at work, though, I rejuvenate in the down time at home.

Photography is one of those ways I relax. It allows me to see more, and it gives me a chance to learn about the places I've been, and keep the memories of time with family and friends at my fingertips. In photography, I notice things that I may have missed otherwise.

My interests are pretty broad. I love nature and rural places. I love art and history. I like to spend quiet time in the garden and outdoors. I like to knit, sew, and play with my dog. I am Catholic, and many of my images show the influence my Faith plays in my life. In general, my interests can be seen in my various photosets.
