I retired 6 years ago after teaching high school English for 37 years. I still love all things creative. My husband and I have been married for 43 years. We live on a beautiful 55 acre farm and are working harder now than ever before, and it's wonderful - a dream come true. I love worshiping the Lord, who has done such wonderful things in my life since I gave it to Him; I believe that it's never too late to have a happy childhood, especially now that I am 66; I enjoy creating mixed-media art,constructing miniature buildings and settings, writing nostalgic and quirky poems and sketches, hiking our beautiful state of North Carolina, and playing the mountain dulcimer.
