I am part of the digital revolution ... and I live in the UK in sunny Lincolnshire. Well okay, it's sunny some of the time.

I started taking photos when I was but a wee nipper, at the age of five or six. I recently scanned and uploaded one of my very first photos that I ever took. See here :D

My main camera use is a Nikon D80 D-SLR, which for the money is a superb bit of kit, and I highly recommend them. Attached to this normally, is either my Sigma 105mm Macro or Sigma 17-70mm zoom. Sad as it is, my F90x sits gathering dust these days, though I do still like using the Olympus OM10 I have, along with its nice bright primes, mostly for B&W. Although recently I've gotten back in to film, and I'm snapping away with a Nikon F5 and EOS 3 - both beasts of cameras.

My long loved Nikon D50 with the 13,000 odd shots that have passed through the shutter has gone to a new home. It will be missed because it's taken some nice shots and has been utterly reliable. My brother has taken control of the camera, so I hope he makes as good a use of it as I did.

When I'm not lugging a D-SLR around Lincolnshire and my travels, you'll find me carrying a Casio Exilim Z850, an Olympus C5050Z, a Canon A420 or even one of the cheap digital cameras I bought: a Vivitar ViviCam 3345 (1.3 MP) or a Jenoptik JD C3.1 LCD (3MP) - if you want to see pics from a cheap digicam, check out the link below. Dismiss point and shoot cameras at your peril.

Still working on a personal project at the moment:

* The £12 Digicam Camera Project - proving that you don't need a £3K lens and camera setup to get nice pics - I keep forgetting to take the cheapy camera with me though :/

I try to upload my best shots to flickr, for more casual photography, I bung my stuff in Picasa Web Albums

Enjoy taking your photos ... and if I comment on your pic it's because I really like it, not because I have to - there's some sterling work on flickr that often goes unseen.

    "My older brother Martin.
Has more cameras than Jessops but at least they get put to really good use. Enjoy his photo stream."
