inhuman tsar's photostream

I'm a hard-working amateur photographer. I tend to shoot in city parks, roadside scenes or other bits of nature that man has either intruded on or created. There's no real reason for this, the combination of man and nature just seems to create interesting scenes. My shots are rarely edited or altered beyond a simple crop and I'll usually make a note of anything I alter.

Currently I shoot with a Pentax K100D which I picked for a few reasons: 1) I can save money by buying old k-mount lenses, 2) I don't have to worry about having proprietary battery packs to charge and 3) shake reduction built into the body so it'll work with all those old k-mount lenses.

I'd like to pick up a classic Polaroid camera and a 35mm Pentax SLR to learn on as well. Polaroids might not be of the highest quality but that's half the charm. I'd like to get a film camera so I can learn to take care in planning my shots and saving film for only the good subjects.

I am considering going to an arts school to study photography but for the time being, I'm much to broke.
