julieds says:
"I should have written this testimonial ages ago !
Martin's stream is about a lot of different things starting with refreshing perspectives that are only made possible if one walks the world looking at the sky. And that to me is a pretty good way of walking the world. When it is not firmly pointing at the clouds, his camera heads down to an impressive - and baffling - collection of colourful Converse trainers. In between there are strange lines, elegant buildings and street art but always expect a unique angle - I suspect his arms to be unnaturally flexible. I cannot end a testimonial about Martin without saying that he leaves the most insightful comments and always brings his unique vision to others' photos. Martin is a delightful rarity here on Flickr."7th April, 2008

"Hard to know where to start, there are so many things worth saying about Martin's pictures, and warmth, wit and quirky view of things that many of us wouldn't see. Almost tempts me to move back to Bristol ...
Come here and drink deep, if you are inspired by a sprawling, stylish and filmic sensibility, seduced by the glorious colour blue, or intrigued by the latent connections the right mind can make behind the detritus of the everyday. Inspiring, funny, a real star amongst my contacts."21st March, 2008

"If I could take photos as half as good as Meh's, I'd be given my own three week solo show in a gallery somewhere really, really good.
DO YOU HEAR ME, ART GALLERY PEOPLES! OFFER HIM A SHOW!
Seriously. Go and get a cup of tea, sit down and have a browse. You'll love it."22nd January, 2008

"Sometimes I wish I lived near Bristol so I could go on photo safaris with Martin. He's got such a great eye, and his photos are super fantastic! And fun!"

"Martin's photos just get better and better. It's the "Flickr effect" - he has to raise his game to keep up with some of the great work on this site, and does it, and keeps on doing it. Colour, shape, and focus fall into place in his work so well now... he's inspired. He's also kind and generous and a pleasure to meet."

Cybergabi says:
"Martin is one of my most admired photographers on flickr. He has the rare ability to trace and emphasize the innermost soul of the subjects he chooses to capture, thus making his art speak directly to my heart, establishing a connection far beyond what I ever expected to find on flickr.
The colors and light in his work are often glorious, his compositions and angles frequently keen and stunning, his landscapes and buildings truly fabulous. So many of his photographs seem to breathe and radiate with a staggering vibrancy.
But Martin's work goes way beyond eye candy: The titles and descriptions on his pictures blossom with creativity, and his comments on other people's pictures are staggeringly luminous, revealing an ornately poetic, scintillatingly witty and alluringly eloquent mind.
I truly adore his work."20th October, 2006
