I live in the east of the Netherlands in the neighbourhoud of Arnhem.

I take pictures for almost 35 years but most of them were family and vacation pictures. I really became fanatic when I bought my first digital camera. I started with a very simple Powershot to get some feeling with digital photography.
But very soon I bought a Canon Digital Rebel and invested in some lenses. My actual cameras are a Canon 40D and a Canon 7D.

At this moment birds, nature, landscapes and close-up pictures do have my biggest interest.

Flickr is my most favorite website and I spend a lot of time visiting Flickr.
I saw a lot of fantastic pictures and every time I visit Flickr I realise that there are a lot of excellent and nice photographers. I also realise that I have to learn a lot. There are such a different ways of making great pictures.
