Although I'd really love to be, I'm far from a professional photographer. Long way to go before that would ever enter the realm of possibilities.

I used to be into photography growing up but am working to get those skills back after many years not shooting. I feel like in the last year I've become much more technically proficient in using my camera and in post-processing.

I shoot everything in RAW, then convert it to Adobe DNG and do 97% of my post processing in Adobe Lightroom 2. From time to time I will go touch something up in Photoshop but for the most part I try and "keep it real" ... I have a background in journalism, so I tend to shoot like a photojournalist, and be true to the original captured image as much as possible.

I have a serious case of NAS (Nikon Acquisition Syndrome) right now but my wife seems to be the only one with a cure ... "You can't buy that right now!" ;)

If you have not noticed, I love taking pictures of my dog and my wife. Perhaps not in that order.
