My love for photography stems from the darkroom and 35mm film. I’ve always liked the versatility and compactness of the format and the unforgivingness of film compared to digital. I love grain. I was schooled in the days when you had 36 shots a roll to make it happened, each shot wasted was time and money. This taught me to see my shot before shooting, to know before doing.

I have a passion for defining an image through lighting, whether natural or studio, and keeping a strong emphasis on composition. I believe in the aesthetic value of photography; graphic lines, strong blacks and elegant shadows. I believe the simplest most direct path is often the best.

I have shot war zones, epic vistas, cityscapes, nightlife and ghettos, chronicled the story of refugees, orphans, celebrity's, divas, men, women and children in over 30 Countries. My commercial clients range from private commissions and start up brands to long standing established companies.
