I first started taking photos on my dad's 35mm Pentax when I was about 10 and was quickly given a second hand Ilford Sportsman that I still have to hone my skills.I moved onto a Pracktica in my teens and was lucky enough to have a friend whose dad was the local photographer. He taught me the basics of exposure, aperture and composition and really planted the photography seed.
Through college and my twenties I kind of lost my way a bit, flirting with 35mm compacts, disposables and later APS.
My passion was reignited with the purchase of a Nikon f55 and later a D40X and now a Nikon d90.
My arsenal has also been supplemented by a Lomo LCA a Lomo Fisheye and an iphone loaded with Hipsamatic.

I'm still learning so any feedback, good or bad is welcome.
