I arrived in Calgary, Alberta in 1991 from former Yugoslavia. Here I grew up and grew into many of my current hobbies. I love the outdoors, traveling, exploring and experiencing new cultures.

With the Rocky Mountains nearby and good weather in the forecast, my weekends are spent hiking, scrambling, climbing, camping and taking photos along the way.

Generally three to four weeks out of the year are reserved for travel. It's a big world out there and I wish I could see it all.

I took up photography in order to get ideas for painting, but painting and drawing have long taken a back seat and the camera has become my main form of expression.
