Exiled Scot living on the edge of the English Lake District. I took up photography in February 2010 for no reason other than to take some 'snaps' during my various walks round the area. However, I got hooked on it and as a result I've started to venture out purely with the aim of taking pictures. Although initially the pictures I took were straight forward 'snaps' of the area I discovered that I really enjoying trying to achieve an atmosphere with the pictures I take. Sometimes it seems to be successful - sometimes not.
