I'm fairly new to photography (as opposed to just taking pics on holiday), but I love it and it's become a real passion, or more likely an obsession! No doubt you all know what I mean :)

I'm a new dad, enjoying fatherhood and taking pics of my beautiful daughter. I love night photography, abstracts, lines, shadows, reflections, long exposures and I guess like most of you all: DoF and bokeh. I generally shoot as wide as the lens will allow (sometimes to the photos detriment).

I'm a bit obsessed with Japan and the photographic opportunities there. Been there 3 times but I wish I lived there, at least for a few years. I love looking at other peoples photos and being inspired. There are some amazing artists on flickr. I particularly like looking at pics of places I've been and seeing how another mind captures the image. It can really widen the way you see things and helps to improve my skills.

I really appreciate people taking the time to view my photos, stream and make comments/favs, especially the meaningful ones. As corny as this sounds, It seems like the more I learn, the more I realise there is still yet to learn! This makes me equally depressed and excited!
