I take along my camera wherever I go, although I do not consider myself a photographer - maybe just a person who's taking visual notes of what is around.
To me, the camera is only a mechanical tool that helps to record a particular moment and how I feel about it.
I perceive the camera as just a device - in the sense that a radio or a piano are just some devices. I believe the melody itself is much more important than the radio or the piano that was used to play the melody. It doesn't really matter which kind of camera lens or technique I used. It's more important to accurately communicate the feeling. It's more important to compose an image..a melody that will be remembered.

    Lisa - :)) says:

"I have followed Mark's passion for photography and have just been swept away with the breadth of his talent. No matter the subject, portraits, still lifes, landscapes, architecture, he captures the very essense of his subject. A real friend too, offering encouragement and just delighting in the art of others. He gives copious amounts of time to not only his art but to that of others. He is a suberb person and one well worth knowing."
