This is Marion from the Netherlands.

My greetings to everyone who is creative, original, honest.

After 5 years of art school, I traveled a lot. After that, I begun to give painting- and drawing lessons in the Netherlands, for a living.
From the beginning, it was hard for me to choose between painting, making pottery,to design ..
People always told me that one can't do all these things well at one time. After all these years I pretend I can! At last, I do what I like..
So I still give drawing lessons, I paint, make bags, mosaics.. I believe that it doesn't matter what kind of material you use to express yourself, or how many different things you do.
I believe in the process of creating. Making nice things, writing stories.. I hope I can still do that for many years.

Something about the Haima's: The Haima family comes from Friesland, the upper northern part of the Netherlands. Now a days there live only a few Haima's.

Around 1500 ac, there existed a Haima State, ( a big farm) in Holwerd, the Netherlands. Haima means "home".
In 1880, the first families emigrated to Randolph Winsconsin to a place that is now a tiny village called Friesland. There still live a couple of Haima's in the surrounding of America's Friesland.
