While in the Marine Corps I started taking pictures to explain to family and friends what on earth I was doing. After that I started to get into it. I'm now a pretty good...well...novice, but still enjoy trying to figure things out. Considering that I fly on helicopters almost daily ,I figure that maybe I got a slightly different angle than everybody else. Besides, this is a fantastic way to get info back on how to actually "get the shot".
