Marieke Verhoeckx (1984) is a poet/writer, allround artist and empowerment coach.
She is an international writer and coach about self empowerment. Her first book: "I’m cool: And so are you" was published in 2007. In 2009 she was part of the writers team of the book: "SMART, multiple intelligence with children." That book is known as the most innovative publication on kids and education of the year 2009.

Her publications can be red in different magazines all over the globe. They are translated in 5 different languages on all continents. She is a regular guest on radio and television shows worldwide. Mirri inspires thousands of people with her private coaching, workshops, lectures, her writings, art and other creations.
Mirri Rocks (Mirri Clooney) is the pseudonym of Marieke Verhoeckx. She currently lives in Holland. Mirri is working on her third book, a novel that is expected to be published in 2011. Mirri and her team are currently planning the spectacular World tour 2011.

She studied child education and development in Holland. Her specialization is the use of creative tools to stimulate social skills and increase confidence of people.
Marieke developed several innovative education programs and coaching modalities and worked intensively with children and teens on primary and high schools.
Her talent lies in facilitating processes were change is needed. She worked with children, teens, parents, teachers and manager teams in governments, foundations and with companies in different fields.

As a former assistant manager of a future centre she knows how to stimulate innovation and creativity. When something needs to be created, Marieke is the one.
The many creative sessions she facilitated delivered spectacular innovate solutions, where people still are talking about. She simply can get everyone creative. She always says: ""You are creating magic yourself, I just show you were the wand is."

Others say about her she enters like gang busters. Her main motivation is to make the world beautiful. She likes to empower everyone she works with. She knows to point out talents, and dares to point out what isn't working. Marieke is a power boost: Loving, fast and effective.

Next to a writer and coach she is a conceptual artist. Her art work has find a home in all kind of private collections. Her funnybunnies and designer dolls have made lots of children and adults happy. Mirri is always working on new concepts and has many creations going on at the same time. At the moment she is working on a DVD for children, she builds websites and she does the marketing and design for different companies. In her spare time she loves to walk in the forest and play with her dog.

You know that feeling? That you are dreaming away and you find yourself in another world? That when you hear a sound you sense the taste, that every color has a shape and that words and numbers are colors, that a feeling makes a sound? Yes?
