Born in South Africa I studied History of Art at the University of Pretoria and completed a few short courses in Fine Art through the University of South Africa. My main inspiration comes from the work of artists such as Munch, John Everett Millais, John WilliamWaterhouse, Klimt, Dali, David Mach, Antony Gormley, Ken Oosterbroek and Tim Burton. I often use appropriation and symbols to represent intense emotions and ideas. If you wish to know me, look carefully at my work- my art draws upon and reflects my experiences of life and people.
