I did quite a lot of argentic photography as a teenager as I traveled around South Amercica and Europe. My grandmother taught me the basics of photography, I was lucky to be able to use her darkroom, where I spent many long hours. She is herself an artist and an inspiration for me to continue experimenting with photography.

I started digital photography about two years ago, although not as much as I would like to. I'm a new user to Flickr and hope in this way I can share some of my past and actual photos, and learn from others.

I am still studying full time, and so have limited time and budget. I use a Canon EOS Rebel XT, with a 18-55mm lens and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. My previous camera was a Canon AE1.
