La pérdida de la fe en el progreso y el desencanto por la constante innovación propia de la modernidad, han llevado a mirar el pasado y recurrir con nostalgia a elementos y materiales abandonados. Un paseo por el tiempo nos invita a apreciar el gusto de nuestras madres, de nuestras abuelas, y también nos permite apropiarnos de la historia.

De esta manera la obra se sirve del pasado, mezclando elementos de diferentes épocas y lugares, descontextualizados de su función y razón original. La intención de la obra es despertar en la gente el deseo de recorrer la historia y reflexionar acerca de las características de aquella sociedad en la cual existía el tiempo, lo artesanal, la calidad, lo sólido, lo femenino y, asi, comparar con nuestra sociedad capitalista donde se han perdido muchos de esos atributos.

En una búsqueda constante de materiales, donde cada papel es único e irreproducible, trato de recrear con observación exquisita y refinada, resaltando el valor de su carga histórica; buscando un acabado con gusto por el detalle y esmero del que suele carecer la moda actual.

"Vivo el arte como una manifestación de la cultura posmoderna. Me emociona trabajar con lo que se tiene, reciclar y transformar materiales y objetos pasados de moda, con mística clásica que le dan un valor agregado. El amor a lo viejo, la elegancia, el gusto de nuestras abuelas, la época, las colecciones, lo artesanal, lo femenino, el detalle., el silencio de la noche......son las cosas que me inspiran"

The loss of the faith in the progress and the disenchantment for the constant modernity innovation, lead her to look at the past and to resort with nostalgia to elements and left materials. She was aroused to an enthusiasm for classical antiquity.
A walk along the time invites us to estimate the taste of our mothers, of our grandmothers, and also it allows us to adapt us of the history.

Hereby her work is built by the past, mixing elements of different epochs and places, lost in its function and original reason.

Her intention is to wake up the people´s desires to navigate through history and to remember there was a time when the meaning was given by handcrafted thing, quality, solid and feminine thing and to be aware that in capitalism we have lost many of these attributes. A return to traditional themes and techniques as a rejection of modernism.

In a constant search of materials, where every paper is only and irreproducible, I try to recreate with exquisite and refined observation, highlighting the value of his historical path; searching the product with taste for the details and effort that the current mode is lack off.

" I experience the art as a postmodern culture manifestation. My work was inspired by simple things, to recycle them and to transform materials and objects oldfashioned, with classic mysticism to add them a value. The love to the oldest thing, elegance, the taste of our grandmothers, the epoch, the collections, the handcrafted thing, the feminine thing, its details, the silence of the night ....... are the things that inspires me ".
