Life in Spain is good! We lived in Switzerland, the States, Canada- now we are enjoying retirement in Southern Catalonia. I always had a camera, but never used it regularly- now I have a camera with me wherever I go- and Taking photographs has been a way to record what is going on around me, my neighborhood, my new country.
I made lots of friends on Wug and when they moved to flickr, I moved along.
Thank you for all the encouragement and positive comments- you guys helped me improve and grow.

I am using several cameras, depending on where I go and how far I have to walk. Weight of the camera is a concern on a long hike.
I have a Pentax X70 and Panasonic DMC-FZ18 bridge camera, a Canon G9 that I use occasionally, and have finally made the step up to DSLR cameras. It was a hard decision because of the weight and size, but now I am glad I made it.
I own a Canon EOS 1000D and a Canon EOS 60D.
