i was 6 years old the day my cousin gave me a Polaroid camera (and taught me how to use it by a lot of effort) to capture some family pictures and ever since that day, what can i say, i am hooked to photography. i have used film cameras and digital cameras extensively however recently i have not been so active in capturing much because school has pretty much surrounded me.

i moved to Canada 11 years ago from Pakistan and i have visited once only during April of 2011. my biggest wish is to capture the non-significant people and things in Pakistan that the media (both abroad and in Pakistan) don't seem to find interesting. if you lift the veil of Taliban and terrorism away from Pakistan, you will find its filled with amazing, hard working and diversified people who have more than religion to occupy their thoughts and mind.

other than that i am a travel ✈ addict and love books, poetry, and sometimes write a blog for a local urdu newspaper. i mainly use Nikon cameras (the D60 and the D80).

currently i am doing a major in health sciences and a minor in interactive arts and technology at a local university and intend to either work in webdesign field or do masters in public health.

Life goes on one way or another...but there is a big difference between living each day of life or just passing each day of life..
