I paint figures that are the Ladies in subterranean stillness, waiting for all that is felt, not yet expressed.
I follow inspiration on whatever path my journey may unfold, using remnants from long forgotten history, as well as what is new.
Among my mediums are faded love letters, paint, photos, leather, old sheet music once played and enjoyed - now left quiet. I am patching, piecing partially obscured lives together and resurrecting their music.
The individual faces and figures on my enchanted journals/boxes/magick mirrors/frames are sculpted out of clay, bronzed over and combined with my handmade paper along with a natural sea foam substance I sculpt for exclusively unique pieces that are very durable and mystically Tolkienesque.
I hand mold the books using quality leather for an intimate, rich creamy texture. All of the paintings and collages inside each object are completely original. You will not find these elsewhere, except perhaps in Middle Earth.

My processes also include exotic potion bottles, Archetypes, Art dolls, Wall hangings, Sculptures, Talisman pouches, and good luck fetishes.
I have been involved with oils and watercolors for decades, mainly figurative painting. But have been experimenting with sculpture for the last several years.
I attended art School in San Francisco. Am a member of the Oregon society of Artists, have exhibited at various art shows and galleries in San Francisco, Oregon, Washington as well as Sedona, AZ, I am endorsed by the world famous watercolor artist & teacher, Arne Westerman.

I love sunny days, as well as thunder/lightening storms and walking in the deep woods after a fresh rain - preferably with my sweetie, Mark. He's absolutely amazing. But I also enjoy time alone. I'm a bit eccentric and eclectic and detest arrogance, snobbishness, bullies.

"I LIKE PEOPLE WHO LIKE THEMSELVES. THIS ARTIST AND WHAT AN ARTIST SHE IS!! IS KIND HEARTED AND OPEN , TO OTHER PEOPLES DIFFERENCES.... SHE IS VERY KIND IN HER REMARKS AND THOUGH SHE COULD BE ARROGANT BECAUSE OF TALENT, SHE NEVER SHOWS ANY OF THAT. I BELIEVE WE HAVE GIFTS OF TALENT AND WE SHOULD ALWAYS BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT WE CAN DO, AND OPEN TO NEW IDEAS AND NEW CHALLENGES AND BETTER WORK ... I THINK SHE ALSO BELIEVES THIE SAME THING. THE ONES WITH GREAT TALENT DO NOT NEED THE TRAPPINGS OF THE INSECURE. I LOVE HER MERMAIDS AND TURTLES AND HAWKS . .. AND SEA CREATIONS. I HOPE SHE MAKES A TON OF MONEY, BUT ................. I SEE THAT IS NOT HER PURPOSE FOR ART. GOOD THING IT IS NOT MINE... HA... HA... CAUSE I AM A STARVING ARTIST AS THEY SAY..... ART IS INSIDE YOU AND IT HAS TO COME OUT. PERIOD. WELL FRIEND I HOPE THIS EXPLAINS WHAT I THINK I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT YOU.... HOPE YOU GET LOTS OF VIEWS... AND YOU ARE SO GOOD TO THANK PEOPLE... TAKE NOTHIN FOR GRANTED RIGHT?????? LOVE LES.... I HAVE PAINTED SINCE I WAS OH.....................? THREE.. NEVER MADE ANY MONEY THEN EITHER ...... HA HA HA . I THINK I MAY HAVE IMPROVED. BUT I GUESS THAT IS UP FOR DEBATE."
