  " Well I'd first like to start off by saying that Maria has been such an inspiration to me, from knowing her personally, and from watching her through her journey of a 365. She inspired me to try something new, and is a major part of the reason why I'm on flickr today. I watched her take her daily picures for her (outstanding) 365 and how she got/still is very into it. It was very inspiring to see how she discovered so much about her self and could capture such emotion through it all. At first I had figured it'd be just taking a picture everyday, but I was wrong. There's a lot of thought that goes into these things, and it amazes me what she comes up with. You really have to follow her outstanding photography. It's what really made me want to start up and take pictures, and one day i'll think back and remember that I owe it all to her. She's a great friend to have, she's an intelligent, talented, AMAZING person and I could not cherish a friendship, or look up to her any more than i do today."
