I started taking photos in May 2006, when visiting the Rockies, using a (new) Nikon D70 borrowed from a long suffering hubby. I'm still finding my way, so much to learn and Flickr is a great place to do that. I now have a Nikon D80 of my own and two lenses an 18-135mm Nikkor and a Tamron 90mm for Macros and Portraits :-)

I have Ehlers-Danlos, I mention this only because I wasn't diagnosed until very late in life, and I'd like to raise awareness - you can get more details here: www.ednf.org/ - if anyone reading this has it too - feel free to email me for any kind of support you might need.

I have never gone the marking lots of people as contacts route - I keep it to around 70-75 - so that I have enough time to comment on most photos without Flickr taking over my life :-), so if you mark me as a contact please don't be offended if I don't return the compliment.

"From my first glimpse of a photo of an escaped golden lock of hair, I could tell Eve had a unique and wonderful view of the world and the talent to let us all see it though her lens.

Since that first image that drew me in, I've been awed by all the facets of photography she has taken on, water droplets, flower macros, gulls and swallows in flight, weather-beaten piers, urban architectures and spectacular landscapes. And of course absolutely conquered and demolished all of them with stunning images! While I could have been just as awed if she was still shooting beautiful Brighton, her move to sunny Spain has proved as energizing as the climate. And the level of spectacular photographs has just kept climbing higher.

I though it high time to express my admiration for her work so far, and my keen interest in seeing just where her lens will take us next..."
