"Marcus is incredibly creative, both in his art and his approach to people. He is kind, he is very real, and he is humorous. I look forward to a comment from Marcus as much as I like to see a new creation. He is never ordinary, often he takes us to somewhere in his incredible imagination. Marcus, thank you for being a good friend on flickr."

His stream is a wild river flow of colour and wonder.
His comments are my favourite of anyone I've met here on flickr.
Mark is, among many things, generous, funny, insightful, and he frequently causes me to see things in an image that I dared not dream existed!
    Fabulous I tell you!"

"To me Mark embodies the spirit of Flickr without peer. His insight is keen and his humour is unique. His commentary on your stream is intelligent , provoking , witty , pleasantly acerbic and most of all teaches us to appreciate the individuality , and creativity of those he interacts with.
His photos and slides , abstracts and portraits are portrayed throughout his stream with a vision and familiarity I can relate to , as do so many others.
    Grazie mille Amico ......................."

"Mark è un artista che va "oltre". Vede cose che altri non vedono. Le sue elaborazioni sono "particolari" e colpiscono per questo, riescono a dare emozioni e sensazioni "diverse" e in questo appunto si vede l'Arte e l'Artista. Inoltre riesce con il suo "terzo occhio", ovvero l'obbiettivo, a cogliere momenti e parti di vita che restano impresse nella mente. Detto ciò, aggiungo che come uomo è un "grande uomo" e mi onoro di essere suo amico!!"

"I should begin this testimonial with the admission that I’m more inclined to talk about myself generally speaking, however, in this instance, assured of Marcus as an audience; I’m prepared to rest my ego. I don’t know Marcus personally; he could very well play for the NY Yankees, yet I’m inclined to state the obvious - he’s genuine, funny and boasts a .351 batting average. His art reflects an appreciation for the world that surrounds him and intensity for the images that occupy his mind via nature and abstracts respectively. I admire varied perspectives in an individual and Marcus artistically accommodates. In total, I have pretty hair, Marcus I apologise, it couldn’t be helped..."

"I've been thinking about doing this for a month or more, but when I started looking for Mark's comments on OTHER people's work, I knew it was time. I first got acquainted with Mark ~6-7 months ago regarding a comment he made on a piece of mine.We have communicated several times since and it's always been a pleasure to exchange emails.
OK, I'll get to the important stuff...
I've had the pleasure of receiving many comments from Mark, he is a very generous soul and always a gentleman.
What sets Mark apart from everyone else is the quality of his comments.
He has an astonishing ability to comment with wit, perception and eloquence...often in the same sentence!! Almost without fail, reading his comments gives me a good laugh or two, or a big smile at the least. That's why I started looking for his comments on other peoples work...I love a good laugh.
Good work buddy and I hope you stay around here for a long time."

"It's great to have Marcus as a contact and even better to view his creative stream. He is not a timid fellow, he boldly goes forward into new territory, experimenting with the best of them on flickr, discovering and mastering new realms of artistry. His big heart has won over many true believers in the art of photoshop and I'm glad to be one of them. Well done and more excellence to come your way Marcus!"

With a most perceptive eye informed by a passion for artistic interpretation and creative sensibility, Mark has made his mark, staged his show ... a high voltage dude with a Philly attitude. Mark is on the move, setting the mood, walking the talk ... So dig the steam from his smokin' stream ... Mr. Crazeology is on the scene!"

Leannaí Lir is very busy; flickr on/off says:

"I was drawn to Mark’s stream when I saw “Cat-woman Carnival Mask”. Its an amazing piece of original art.

Mark’s creativity is quite diverse and like an orchestral conductor he manages to sychronise architecture, candid ("Hot Red in Pink" is fab), nature, collage images into perfect harmony. The macro shots are consistently stunningly presented - “Happy Flower”. And even tho I don’t really like cats, Mark has a way of portraying the wonderful bond he has with his cat Oscar.

Mark is highly imaginative, passionate & creative and his collages leave the viewer wondering how the hell did he think of this – “Man and his Symbols* / Battle of the G Men”. Our collaborated work, “The Triumph” was not only flattering but an added pleasure for me to see how he could bring one of my images to a new level.

Flickr is very lucky to have someone of Mark’s callibre, who apart from his artistic gifts, his encouragement to others to explore their potential makes him is a highly valued and treasured contact . And I’m soooh lucky to have stumbled on is stream and found such inspiration, encouragement and a friend. Oh did I mention his wicked SOH… if there was a prize for comments, Mark would get mine lol :))

    Hugs Mark xx"

I am so glad I have met you and thank you for your visits to my thread and your thoughtful, gracious comments:-)."

"Mark is a great photographer and uses his skills to combine photography with art. The results show even quite common scenes and objects in a different and unusual way. Also his mushroom photographies are amazing - you will rarely find such well exposed and composed shots of all different kind of mushrooms in nature. Mark's landscape photographies are all very well composed and full of atmosphere. I wish him all the best and fun using his new DSLR now - I am sure we will see further amazing shots in all kind of photographic areas!"
