Marc Santos is a New York based photographer who specializes in live performance, especially music, theater and sports. Santos is equally comfortable with ambient light and flash photography, and strives to use lighting to show moments that are not normally seen. His strong background as a performer (saxophone) combined with his experience as an Equity stage manager, come together with photography to create the unique skillset of a live performance image creator. Equally at home in small clubs and large concert and theatrical venues, Santos has the ability to connect with performers through his lens all while seamlessly working within the technical aspects of even the largest production. Past clients include Broadway Training Center, Rivertown Film Society, Boston Derby Dames, and Rockland County Jazz & Blues Society. He is currently involved in creating promotional materials and portraits for Suburbia Roller Derby.

Santos is also experienced in photography as part of larger multimedia creations: his photographs have been featured in performances by producer and radio/television personality Elliott Forrest, and also in a recent documentary 'Circus in the Park' for Amazing Grace CIRCUS (in collaboration with notable photographers Deborah Grosmark and Jim Moore).
