Maralyn is an active food, wine and travel writer as well as a coach and editor to other writers. She is President of the International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association.

Maralyn says she was born to travel and tell the story. Even though Maralyn is not a professional photographer, she photographs food wherever she goes and enjoys all aspects of travel--possibly not frustration at airports--but they all go with the benefits.

From 2002-06, she interviewed chefs for her show on Time-Warner Cable, "Dishing with Carolina Chefs." Having relocated since then to Phoenix, AZ, she has returned to focusing on the world and all it culture and travel potential. Maralyn views food as a geography lesson.
