Active in photography. I post only un-edited pictures, no Photoshop enhancements, unless it is converted in Elements from RAW format, or if the photos are scanned.

Some people have asked me where I got the name Marada. If you perform a search for Marada, you will find pet breeders, a PA golf course, a Lebanese group of communities, and a comic book to name a few. I chose this name after a boat formerly built in KY. I love to hit the lakes, you will find a lot of pics taken at lakes in Ohio, Michigan, Arizona, and Washington. I also travel when I get free time and have pics from MA, CT, FL, CA, HI, WV, IN, IL, SC, and MO. As a single dad, my kids are nearing the empty nesting age and it is now giving me more time to shoot a lot of pictures locally close to home. My son likes quads, my daughter likes boating and fishing.

I also enjoy checking out pictures from other photographers, and Flickr has lots of them. It is interesting to watch the Holgas and the Polaroids on this site. The aspiring artists have been awsome. I really enjoy old pictures and a have seen a few just now coming out from WWII. I also enjoy reseaching photographs from the 1800s using plate technology.

I also spend a lot of time out walking my Tibetan Terrior, "Jake" he is always tugging at me when I am trying to take a picture on some of our walks. He is the only dog I have owned that can seem to smile especially after he makes me retake a shot. He loves the trails at Highbanks in the fall and winter.
