Man on the Run (MotR) put down roots in late 2001 as a side project between two good friends, Patrick Barrett and Joe Holt.

Patrick, who always had a head for numbers, took over the operations of the company, while Joe, his head always filled with nonsense, became its creative director.

Since its inception, MotR has gone through several stages, first as a comic book publisher and more recently as a production company. Yet in whatever capacity the company has taken, be it print or film, its founders have always strived to create something new and intelligent for their audience.

Originally named for a 'Paul McCartney and Wings' song Joe misheard, the term 'Man on the Run' has lately become a theme for the company's directors, producers, cast and crew.

With the completion of their first project, a 50-minute film entitled Road Less Traveled, the people that make Man on the Run what it is are busier than ever. DVD sales and customer reaction on 'RLT' are better than anyone in the company would have predicted.
