Manifesta 7 Education's photostream

In 2008, the European Biennial Manifesta 7 will take place in the Trentino -South Tyrol region. This border-land region, comprising 150 kilometres of beautiful landscapes, historical sites and masterpieces of industrial archeology, has always been a cultural melting pot. Unique within the European panorama, it embraces Italy and 'Mitteleuropa', including both industrial plains and alpine territories. Different languages and thousands of years of traditions and heritage will help to shape the stage for a wide-ranging series of international events including exhibitions, workshops, forums, publications and performances.

Manifesta 7 is a trajectory of different artistic positions and practices. It would like to position itself as an enviroment in which everyone feels comfortable enough to ask questions and to engage in discussion. To facilitate this exchange of knowledge an art education programme has been specially created to accompany the broader exhibitions.
