Formed in 2008, Maneno is a blogging platform and a communication portal specifically designed for Sub-Saharan Africa:
-Lighter & Faster to upload
-More accessible (currrently in Beta, but plans include SMS blogging)
-Localized in several African languages with easy collaborative translation tools
Its main goal is to promote citizen journalism in Africa and showcase Africa's diversity and complexity.
