Arwen Lady of Rivendell's photostream

Greetings one and all,

I joined Flickr to take part in a 366 challenge for 2012, and wow what a steep learning curve for me. I've also joined a few other groups, e.g. treasure/scavenger hunts and some daily challenge groups.

I'm relatively new to photography and came to the hobby by accident. My other half wanted to join the local photographic club - photography has been his hobby since before I met him in 1984 - and even though I only had a point and shoot camera, which I could hardly use, he suggested I also join the photographic club.

I now have a better DSLR than him, more lenses and equipment than him and take more photos in a day than he does in a month! However, most of my images are duffers, whereas the few he takes are all good.

I see so many wonderful images here on Flickr and I get so frustrated that I can't yet easily take and present similar shots, but Rome wasn't built in a day.


By the way....I'm now print and web secretary of Bexhill Photographic Club.
