I absolutely love taking pictures...A moment that i have frozen in time....That will never happen again, and yet it can always be remembered.I love to try and catch something new, and my camera goes everywhere with me.

Doing photography is a new business venture for me and has been exciting from the start. The excitement of a paying client is fun, and i hope to one day have my bird photos published..Big dreams i know but im a hopeless optimistic. I also have my own business at home...I make hairbows and accessories for little girls...All the bows on my girls are made by me!!!!!
I like to follow them around snapping pics of them all the time.....They get so annoyed by me!!!
Its gotten to where everything has to be put on discs..Cuz i cant afford to print them all..Hahaha.

I also love to take pics of the area whitetail deer and wildlife... There are some beautiful animals, and this picture oppurtunities are great cuz they arent the least bit scared! Living out in the country has proved to be a great advantage for a wildlife lover. I has photo opts all the time!!! Or I can always take a quick trip to my mom and dads ranch down the road!!

Birds! I am loving photographing them, i never paid much attention to them before...They make a beautiful photo!!!! I
find myself driving around just to find them.
I have learned so much over the last year having to do with birds. Sit outside and watch for a few hours, you may have birds you never even realized were around your area!!! Such as the Greenjay which only South Texas gets to enjoy, and I never realized that!!! Quality time with the family is spent riding up and down the coast looking for shorebirds. my son is even starting to recognize some by name!!!!

We started a birding and wildlife 4-H club this past year, and have some really great kids involved. We are still going stong.They are enthusiastic and want to learn...(of course the field trips keep them going) lol. We like to get our area wildlife biologist and game warden involved any chance we can. It has been a great learning experience for us as well as them!!!

And the flickr community...What can i say there are some really sweet and caring people on here and i am so glad to have met some of them and get to see the world thru their lens!!!! I am constantly learning from them!!!
