I am old fashioned in a modern way and modern in an old fashioned way.

First camera: Rangefinder Canon Canonet 28, circa 1978,

In present time: Digital range finder Epson R-D1s.

Never DSLR.

In a fleeting moment betwixt reality and the make-believe we will be prone to see what others can't, or what others refuse to be cognizant of.

The cameras I shoot with, I don't really have to shoot with, there are a multitude of newer cameras - cameras that other people use very easily, that if I wanted to, I could also shoot with - but then I would be like everyone else, and that would mean that I would have a camera just like everyone else – a camera that, yes, that will do everything for me - like it does for everyone else.

I don't want to be like everyone else.

It's a very personal thing.
