Hello everyone,
I am very excited about opening my online shop, Mandala Jewels, @ mandalajewels.etsy.com I have been making jewelry for many years and decided, on a whim, to start selling my wares approximately three years ago. To my astonishment, my home-based business began to grow and I continue to be amazed each time someone purchases one of my unique creations. I have decided it is now time to take my business online and see how it goes in this venue.

I am inspired by any and everything and love to incorporate zen, ethnic, vintage and southwest influences in my designs. I am strongly influenced by intense color and contrast; on the other hand, I am also inspired by the subtle nuances of nature, which are keenly evident in some my work. It is the combination of these elements that create a wonderful balance in what I have to offer my clientele. I use quality semi-precious stones such as turquoise, peruvian opal, jade, mexican fire opal, fresh water pearls, spiney orange, coral, lapis lazuli, sterling silver components, bali and hill tribe silver beads, african trade beads, and fine delica seed and vintage glass beads.

I have full time job during the day that I love. I am an assistive technologist specialist, as well as a single mom of a self-determined teenage daughter. My other interests include mixed media journaling/collage, writing, poetry, painting, traveling; the list could go on forever.

I savor the precious time I have to spend in my studio because I realize that the by product of creativity is joy and that is what makes life worth living. Please take the time to peruse, what I feel is a very special collection, and tell all of your friends about my shop! Also, keep in mind that I will be adding new pieces very often.
