MamaCat's Ephemera's photostream

Here are some tidbits about me...writing is a lifelong passion of mine, but only recently, I started fooling with visual art. I love paper crafts, collage, mixed-media work...if only I had the studio of my dreams to spread out all of my bits of ephemera. For now, the dining room table will have to do.

I married an amazing graphic artist and he brought to my life his Canadian flair and eye for color. He's also a darn good cook! We have two sons--19 and 3 (literally!).

I've found so much inspiration by networking with talented artists in Yahoo Groups & sites like art-e-zine.com and artchixstudio.com. I am addicted to Cloth Paper Scissors and Somerset Studio. Nick Bantock--an amazing writer and artist--is a true inspiration too.

My blog features some of my collage work and some writing I share/ practice at one of my favorite web pages ever, arcanumcafe.com. My goal is to one day join my love of writing with my passion for visual art. I'm behind on my blog because of the sleep deprivation that goes along with having a new baby.
