Shooting a Nikon D50 DSLR with:
* Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX Zoom
* Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D AF

I got my DSLR camera in July 2006 (For my Birthday). I'm learning how to use it better - mainly having problems indoors with no flash (I'm not a big fan of flash - probably need a speedlight).

90% of my photos right now are of my son and dog (my wife makes cameos as well). The two of them tend to be fairly photogenic and don't avoid the camera! I'm interested in taking more street level and landscape/seascape photos, but it's hard for me to get out there with the camera.

I play Go, a 3000+ year old game of surrounding territory originating from China. Some of my pictures reflect my interest in the game! The game is very easy to learn, but getting to the very strong levels requires intense study. It's the foremost challenge for Artificial Intellegince programming - the effort required surpasses chess yet children often take to the game very quickly and easily!
