After the 1 year volunteer job, I am now doing my PHD in MSU, USA. Here comes the new story!

I graduated fro East China Normal Uni last year and currently work as a volunteer teacher in western China. My work place is typical rural region. People are very poor, and many kids have to leave school since they think education is useless. I planned to stay here for 1 year(est. 2005.8) in order to investigate how life is in rural parts of China, and also take a close look at China's compulsory education system. Maybe I will continue my research in the near future based on my experience in Shanxi.
