Ich komme aus der schönen Stadt Kehl und meine Leidenschaft für die Fotografie kam Anfang 2006 mit dem Kauf meiner ersten digitalen Kompaktkamera, einer Panasonic DMC-FZ20. Mittlerweile hat es mich so gepackt, dass ich mir mit dem Kauf einer digitalen Spiegelreflexkamera einen "kleinen Traum" erfüllt habe.

Schon als Kind galt mein Interesse den Insekten und Biene Maja tat ihr übriges dazu, sodass Insekten- und Pflanzenmakros meine Hauptmotive sind aber auch Tier- und Landschaftaufnahmen haben, wann immer ich dazu Gelegenheit habe, mein Interesse geweckt. Und immer, wenn es das Wetter zulässt, bin ich in der Natur unterwegs und "jage" meine Motive.

Meine Naturfotos sind Naturdokumentationen, die immer die Wahrheit zeigen. Zuviel EBV und Eingriffe in ein Foto zeigen nicht mehr die Wahrheit. Auch das umsetzen eines Krabblers für die "perfekte" Freistellung ist ein Eingriff in die Natur und zeigt nicht die Wahrheit zu der ein Naturfotograf verpflichtet sein sollte.

I Live in the beautiful city of Kehl and my passion for photography came at the beginning of 2006 when I purchased my first digital compact camera, a Panasonic DMC-FZ20. In the meantime it fascinates me and I have fulfilled a " small dream " to me with the purchase of a digital reflex camera.

Already as a child my interest in insects and The Adventures of Maya the Bee are responsible for my main photo motives, insects and spiders. But also animals and landscapes could be found in my portfolio. And always when the weather is nice, I am walking in nature and "hunting" my images.

My nature photos are nature documentations which always show the truth. Too much image editing and interventions on an image do not show the truth any more. Also moving a insect for the "perfect" isolation is an intervention in nature and does not show the truth a nature photographer should be obliged.
