Artist. Crafter. All around fun person.

As you can see from my site, I have many avenues of arts and crafts that I explore. A goal of mine is to learn every technique there is to know for every medium and material available and then, play!

I was born and raised in West Chester, Pennsylvania and consider myself an artist since birth. My mother was a key element in my art path. She was taking art classes when I was young and always encouraged me to explore. It was a rule in our house that you weren't allowed to waste time in front of the TV. So, I taught myself to crochet at a very young age. I loved playing with my stuffed animals, giving them "life" and remember rotating them each night on the bed so they would get equal love. In school, I colored an elephant ditto "E is for Elephant" in purple. My teacher sent it home with a note, "Please inform Jennifer that elephants are not purple." My mom was furious and got on the phone to the teacher, "How dare you stifle my child's creativity!"

It wasn't until college that my creative juices were restirred by a teacher. I received a note about my soap sculpture, "You have such a feel for art." That did it. I graduated with a BA in Art from Millersville University, PA and then a Masters in Fiber Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

I now live in Orlando, Florida with my artist husband who I met at SCAD and a rescued mini poodle named Beau.
