FIELD GUIDE: BIRDS OF THE WORLD
If you've arrived here because I have added or corrected tags on some of your photographs, it is because I am one of the administrators in the Field Guide: Birds of the World group. For this hyperlink index and this hyperlink index to work properly, tags with the correct scientific name(s) of the bird(s) depicted in your photograph are required. Take no offence please!


IMAGES
The original images are mostly 5MP, 8 MP or 10 MP jpeg or RAW format. The only post processing applied to the images, where required, is contrast enhancement, sharpening and cropping. Of late the RAW images may have their white balance and exposure adjusted as well.


TAGS
With virtually all of the photographs in my stream you will find tags showing the location where it was taken and the common and scientific names of the flora or fauna depicted. Many photos are georeferenced as well. Please let me know if you come across any misidentifications or can provide the correct ID for species that I have not been able to identify.


INVITES
Comments and invites for interesting Flickr groups are most welcome.

However, if you wish to invite my photos to groups that require commenting on or favouriting other photographs, you can spare yourself the trouble. I will not heed such invitations.

If I comment or fave photos it is because I want to and not because I have to!
