I love nature, photography, the sky (especially Northern lights though I only get to see them through the net so far!), animals, birds. I am a Board Member at the Toronto Bird Observatory, helping set up a banding research station and learning how to band birds. Bird banding is a method for gathering useful facts about the life histories of
birds. It provides information on:
• Migration routes
• Breeding grounds
• Winter ranges
• Population fluctuations
• Other scientific/conservation issues .
I have undertaken updating their Blog
And I am owned by Loki (a Pied Pearl Cockatiel) and Bailey (a Peach Faced Lovebird) and for a while I had the pleasure of being owned by Tchaikovsky RIP (a yellow sided Green Cheeked Conure) as you'll know when you look through my stream, LOL!
