I love comments on my photos, but hardly ever get them. FWIW. I'm working on trying to be more active on others photos and in groups, but it sure takes a lot of time (I wonder how some people can have so many groups and put photos into so many group pools and get so many comments and get so many invites and multiple comments from groups for a photo posted on a group for a contest ...)

I am an amateur photographer. I'd love to always have my camera with me, but with 4 young children and a Canon Digital Rebel that isn't super portable I don't usually have it when out and about, or if I do it stays in it's bag usually more than not ...

I got a Sony Handycam for Christmas 2008 and will use that more in the future (it's Feb. 2009 at this writing) and get that into my flickr stream too, then.

I have a lot of film photos that I need to get digitalized. I currently do not have a scanner, when I get another one I'll start getting older stuff into my flickr stream.

The last few years of using my film Canon Rebel camera I did often get a CD made with development of a lot of the rolls I took. My official transfer to digital photo taking took place in July 2005 when I won and got a used Digital Rebel on eBay. It is still in use, my primary camera.

I've used a few other point and shoot digital cameras for things on the side since sometime after 2000, but my pictures mostly are from Canon cameras. Before my film Canon Rebel I had a Canon film point & shoot (a $99 SureShot) bought at Target in early 1992, my first good camera, anything that came before was cheap and I just used because I did't have any money to fool around with. In 1992 I finally got sick of it and had to get something a bit more worthy of my attention. I don't have that camera anymore, it went crazy and only produced blurry photos suddenly and so the Canon Rebel film became my choice in the year ... (I have to consult my past records for the timing of that event.)
