Welcome to my profile page. I am currently re-evaluating my presence on Flickr. My beloved mother passed away unexpectedly on Friday January 7th. My creativity seems to been zapped from me.

I'm a housewife with camera who is constantly struggling to find a way that she can fit Flickr into her daily routine without falling into the addiction of it. So far it's been a losing battle.

The many quotes in my stream are a nod to my mother who seems to have a never ending supply of quotes in her brain. These two quotes I find could be my life's motto:

“We are shaped and fashioned by what we love.” ~Johann Wolfgang Goethe

"Basically nature is my Genus Loci, or the place where my spirit resides."~Judith Anderson

My mom loved the work of Dr. Leo F. Buscaglia. Here is one of his quotes that I particularly like:
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

A bit of what I have "found" :
-confounded by the time Flickr consumes
-dumbfounded by the amazing talent there is in this world
-newfound interest in all things creative due to my experience on Flickr
-profound respect for the earth and its inhabitants.
