I am an aficionada of beauty, art, and elegance. I see them as God’s gifts for everyone. I believe all people were given these gifts but only a handful takes time to learn how to put a subject amidst the million into focus and appreciate the world’s beauty even in its most tedious state.

I started to appreciate the world and this passion more because of Flickr. It’s more of a gallery of pictures for me --- it’s a gallery of friends. It’s becoming more interesting for me each day because of all those streams I visit and adore so much and of all those people who take time visiting my stream and continuing to inspire me with their wonderful messages.

    "I remember my first "real" encounter with Maggy. It was through an e-mail, when she said to me: "I'm hoping to be just like you one day". I did assure her then that she would find her own rhythm, and it would be all hers. Now I can truly say that Maggy has found her own rhythm, and she shows it in so many diverse, stunning, at times magical ways. I have been awed by her seascapes and landscapes. I have feasted my eyes on her floral macros - simple yet powerful. I have been thrilled with her images of caterpillars, tarantulas, snakes and scorpions.
