I was born in Oxford the same year the Queen was crowned, (i.e 1837).
I now live in London and spend nearly all my spare time exploring and photographing London. I also work full time which seriously gets in the way of my life. Update: I now work only four days a week which, although better, is not good enough! I am now counting down the time to my retirement

I used to use a Nikon D40x but got fed up with it's intermittent faults. So now I use a Canon G11 point and shoot and I much prefer this camera. I have (again) had the Nikon repaired and occassionally use it.

I am interested in history and architecture and I like to think I take documentary type photo's. Photography is more about the subject and my desire to 'preserve' it.

I love graffiti.

I also love old derelict buildings and any relics from a bygone age - signs, notices, artefacts etc.

Photography is very important in my life. It keeps me sane.

It also a validates my tendency to traipse the streets of London and if I carry a camera it stops me looking like a streetperson, as I am quite scruffy. However, I now run the risk of looking like a terrorist thanks to the paranoia of the police.
