A die-hard knitter. I knit even when I'm meant to be sleeping. When I'm not knitting (and sometimes when I am, thanks to audiobooks), I love to read. Neil Gaiman, William Gibson, and Jasper Fforde are among my favorite authors. I'm also a fan of anime and manga. Paradise Kiss is my favorite, and I'm currently enjoying watching Bleach on Comedy Central.

My Flickr name is taken from the name of a character in William Gibson's 2003 book "Pattern Recognition". She is only ever named as "Magda", though her brother is introduced as Voytek Biroshak, so I assumed they have the same last name. Even if I'm wrong, it's still a cool name.
