Taking pictures is pretty much what I most like doing...I take pictures of something every day and put most of them up here on flickr..I don't take lots of pictures but try to make the ones I do take the best that I can...I've recently taken to street photography and really enjoy the hunt of seeking out characters to photograph... I believe good composition is the key to a good picture and always endeavour to incorporate an aesthetic element into my shots...I'm constantly inspired by what I see on flickr and spend a great deal of time looking at other photographers work generally.....I'm not interested in critisicism...I'm my own critic and I don't believe it's my place to criticise anybody else's work either......But you can be sure if I see something I really like then I will tell you so...!

Arty Smokes (deaf mute) says:
"What I was going to say about Jeff has already been said by the man himself on his profile, but in case he changes it, I'll re-iterate. Jeff lives on a boat, but his job enables him to drive around the country while snapping pictures of anything that catches his eye. It's this sort of variety I find appealing. On this stream you'll find pictures of brand new sports cars next to knackered old ice cream vans, curious folks wandering the streets, and even stranger mannequins gazing at them from behind glass-fronted shops. Jeff's use of cameras from the cheap to the expensive also adds to the variety.
More important than the photos, however, is Jeff's easy-going outlook. He's a constant source of jokes and general good humour, which is refreshing on a site on which serious attitudes to "art" can detract from the fun to be had by interacting with people you've never met.
In summary, Jeff is an all-round top bloke, who is as modest and generous as you could hope to find. He didn't even bribe me into writing this testimonial. Well, the cheque hasn't arrived yet. ;)"6th June, 2009
