I fell in love with photography when my next door neighbor came home from college and showed me some of the stuff he was doing in his photography classes (solarization, manipulated depth of field, etc.) My first camera was a Minolta SRT 201 and I loved making images with it. While I was at the Ohio State University, I took photography and photojournalism classes. It was a rush to get to go take photos of people around campus and in the city. Lately, I'm doing more to explore with light and composition--I've been reading the Strobist blogs and trying out things on my own.
